I recently had a flat while riding (not a fun feeling, when the back end starts slip-sliding all over the place) on a set of relatively new tires (95 savage). Both tires were replaced by a professional mechanic at the end of last years riding season and had less than 500 miles on them. No problem until two days ago when the rear tire suddenly goes flat. turns out that it's now leaking badly around all the spokes (won't hold air at all) I know the spokes need to be checked periodically, but would loose spokes cause the tire to leak air? I could not tell that the spokes were necessarily 'loose'. any comments, hints, tips or suggestions welcome. thanks g.
